Dentists

Dr. David Scott Lipps attended the University of Cincinnati for his undergraduate degree in Biology.  Dr. Lipps attended The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, graduating in 1984.  After graduating, Dr. Lipps returned to Cincinnati and began his practice in the City of Wyoming, Ohio.

Dr. Lipps and his wife, Carrie, have been married for 31 years.  Carrie was a teacher in the Cincinnati Public School System and recently retired after 30 years of teaching.

Dr. Lipps and Carrie also raised two sons.  Their oldest son, Jon, graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and recently graduated from The Ohio State University Medical School.  He is currently an anesthesiology resident at The Ohio State University Hospital.  Their younger son, Joe, graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law.   He is currently working at the law firm Bailey Cavalieri LLC in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Lipps is a member of The American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association and The Cincinnati Dental Society.

Dr. Sara Elizabeth Crouch Yochum grew up in Lexington, KY and adventured north to attend Miami University of Oxford for her undergraduate degree in Zoology.  She then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus.  After graduating from dental school in 2004, Dr. Yochum came to Cincinnati for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Cincinnati.  After finishing the residency program in June of 2005, Dr. Yochum joined our practice shortly after in July.

Dr. Yochum and her husband, Gary, were recently married in 2009.  As animal lovers, they live with their four dogs and two cats, and volunteer regularly at a local animal shelter.  

Dr. Yochum is a member of The American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association and The Cincinnati Dental Society.

Assistants:

Rhonda is our longest employed person next to Dr. Lipps and an integral part of our dental services and success.  Rhonda has been here for 26 years as an expanded function dental assistant (EFDA) licensed by the state of Ohio to place dental fillings.  Rhonda takes over for Dr. Lipps to finish the fillings after the teeth have been evaluated and prepared.

Tiffany has been with us for 10 years and is also an EFDA working with both Dr. Lipps and Dr. Yochum.

Patti has been with us for 12 years.  She is a very experienced dental assistant and assists Dr. Lipps during major dental treatment on our patients.

Gina has been with us for 2 years and she has quickly become a vital part of our dental team as Dr. Yochum's main assistant for all dental procedures.

Administrative:

Lori has been with us for 13 years.  She is the Accounts Manager for the practice.  Lori takes care of organizing the treatment plan and scheduling appointments for our patients as well as financial arrangements for both Dr. Lipps and Dr. Yochum.

Katie has been with us for 11 years.  She is the Business Manager for the practice.  Katie also takes care of the accounting for the office including entering treatment rendered, coordinating insurance claims and payments and posting this to the patient's accounts.

Renee has been with us for 11 years.  She is a vital part in the front desk efficiency.  Renee can do most any function in this office including accounting, reception and insurance needs.

Amy is the first person that you see as you come in the front door of our office or the friendly voice you may hear on the phone.  She worked for the office previously for a number of years and after a brief sabbatical came back to us for a couple of years now, and we're happy to have her back.

Dental Hygienists:  All of our hygienists will help maintain a beautiful healthy SMILE for LIFE with regular care!

Marcia has been with us for 15 years.  She works at least 4 days a week here in the office.  Marcia can truly help our patients get on a plan to keep teeth and gums healthy for life.

Anita has been with us 9 years.  She works 3.5 days a week here in the office which gives her time to work at Raymond Walters College in the hygiene program as an instructor where she oversees the students in their training to become hygienists.  

Mandy has been with us for a number of years now.  She began as a sub hygienist and it quickly became clear we needed her excellent services full time.  She rounds out a fantastic hygiene department.
