Our Dental Team

Doctors:     

Dr. David Scott Lipps attended the University of Cincinnati for his undergraduate degree in Biology.  Dr. Lipps attended The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, graduating in 1984.  After graduating, Dr. Lipps returned to Cincinnati and began his practice in the City of Wyoming, Ohio.

Dr. Lipps and his wife, Carrie, have been married for over 25 years.  Carrie is a teacher in the Cincinnati Public School System and getting ready to start her 29th school year. 

Dr. Lipps and Carrie also raised two sons.  Their oldest son, John, graduated in the Spring of 2006 from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is now continuing his education at The Ohio State University, College of Medicine.  Their younger son, Joe, graduated in the Winter of 2007 from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.  Joe is continuing his education at The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law.

Dr. Lipps is a member of The American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association and The Cincinnati Dental Society.

Dr. Sara Crouch Yochum is from Lexington, KY and adventured north to attend Miami University of Oxford for her undergraduate degree in Zoology.  She then attended  The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry.  After graduating from dental school, Dr. Yochum came to Cincinnati to intern with University of Cincinnati in 2004.  After finishing the intern program in June 2005, Dr. Yochum joined our practice shortly after in July of 2005.

Dr. Yochum is a member of The American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association and The Cincinnati Dental Society.  Dr. Yochum is also a member of The Junior League of Cincinnati.

 

Assistants:

Rhonda is our longest employed person next to Dr. Lipps and an integral part of our dental services and success.  Rhonda has been here for 23 years as an EFDA, which is an expanded function assistant.  Rhonda takes over for Dr. Lipps to finish the fillings after the teeth have been evaluated and prepared. 

Tiffany has been with us for 7 years and is also an EFDA working with both Dr. Lipps and Dr. Yochum. 

Patti has been with us for 9 years.  She is the assistant that helps out Dr. Lipps during any major dental treatment on our patients, specifically crown, bridge and cosmetic procedures. 

Gina comes to us with previous dental experience and she has quickly become a vital part of our dental team as Dr. Yochum's main assistant for all dental procedures.  

Administrative:

Lori has been with us for 10 years.  She is the Accounts Manager for the practice.  There is none better in sorting out any insurance or financial questions you might have about your dental treatment.  Lori takes care of treatment planning the patients’ dental treatment for both Dr. Lipps and Dr. Yochum.  

Katie has been with us for 8 years.  She is the Business Manager for the practice.  Katie also takes care of posting dental treatment and sending to the insurance for payments and then posting payments to the patient’s accounts. 

Renee has been with us for 8 years.  She started off as the main receptionist but has moved up to fill in where needed at the front desk, post treatment, helping with insurance and anything else asked of her. 

Amy is the first person that you see as you come in the front door of our office or the friendly voice you may hear on the phone.  She worked for the office about 9 years ago and is now back and is the  front desk receptionist. 

 

Hygienist:  All our hygienist will help maintain a beautiful SMILE for LIFE with regular care!

Marcia has been with us for 12 years.  She works at least 4 ½ days a week here in the office, which gives her time to train for marathons. 

Anita has been with us 6 years.  She works 3 ½ days a week here in the office which gives her time to work at Raymond Walters College in the hygiene program where she oversees the students in their training to become a hygienist.  

Mandy  is truly the newest member of the staff.  She started off as a substitute hygienist for us and become an excellent full-time Hygienist.
